55 lbs/m¹ The STAS cliprail max system is a hanging system for the perfectionist. The STAS cliprail max features a top rim that connects with your ceiling. With this system, your ceiling, wall and picture hanging system unite as one. The rail, which is available in white or a natural aluminium colour and is most attractive when used with flat ceilings. STAS cliprail max owes its name to the specially designed fastening clip - the STAS railclip - which allows easy fixation to the wall. For the best result, you can neatly finish the transition between the STAS cliprail max and the ceiling by adding an (acrylic) sealant.

Installation went smoothly. STAS has a template you can print out to help make sure you're drilling in the right spots, highly recommend using. Had to redrill a few holes to get the spacing just right (drilling into masonry isn't an exact science), but the unused holes are hidden by the rail so no harm no foul. I found wrapping a hammer in a rag and tapping on the railing if it's resisting snapping onto the anchor collars is pretty effective.
Once its up, it's 0 maintenance and super easy to use. Guests always get a kick out of it and the lack of nails or command strips gives me piece of mind. It's a breeze to shift art around or to add/remove pieces. Just slide cables around, and move the zippers up and down until you're happy. I spend more time leveling the frames than I do 'mounting' them.
Only recommendation: for the zip hooks: put the hook at the top of the zip assembly. Lots of smaller frames have the sawtooth hangers at the top of the frame, and the zip hook is visible over the top of the frame. Putting the hook at the top of the zipper would reduce that.
Would buy again.
