There are picture rail hooks and cords for loads up to 8.8 lbs, 22 lbs, 33 lbs and 44lbs to choose from. Use one picture rail hook on a cord for small frames and two cord-hook combinations for larger ones. This makes it easier to balance and level a larger and often heavier frame. Picture rail hooks on cords
The perlon cord is virtually invisible. The steel cable, also available in white, is suitable for hanging heavier wall decorations and has a more industrial feel. You can use more cords on one item to make it balance and level better. Make sure that you keep into account that the weight of the frame doesn't exceed the capacity of the cord - hook combination(s), but you can add up the capacities of several hooks.
