Description
It's better to use two or more cord-hook combinations for larger/heavier frames, so the weight capacity is certainly enough, plus you can level the frame better when you have two hook - cord combinations to hang your artwork from. This makes it easier to balance and level a larger and often heavier frame. One STAS zipper on perlon (clear) cord - carries loads up to 33 lbs, so two zipper hook - perlon (clear) cord combinations can carry 66 lbs. The STAS cliprail max picture rail can carry 55 lbs per 39.25".

55 lbs per 39.25" STAS cliprail max is a hanging system for the perfectionist. An extra rim ensures the rail connects beautifully with the ceiling. With this system, your ceiling, wall and picture hanging system unite as one. The rail is most attractive when fixed to flat ceilings. STAS cliprail max owes its name to the specially designed fastening clip - the STAS railclip - which allows easy fixation to the wall. For the best result, you can neatly finish the transition between the STAS cliprail max and the ceiling by adding an (acrylic) sealant.

We choose this picture rail system for our family photos wall to give us the most flexibility and freedom to change and rearrange pictures. The hanging systems looks sophisticated, like a museum. Mounting the track to the wall is a little tricky but manageable. Once the track is up, moving pictures is a cinch.

I am lousy at stuff like this, and terrified of handyman-type stuff. It took me several weeks after my order arrived (promptly and accurately) to get the nerve to attempt the installation. It was a piece of cake. It looks great, works exactly as I had hoped, and while the first rail took me a while to install (due to paranoia about screwing it up), subsequent ones went very quickly indeed.
