We recently had to remove 23 pieces of art we display on one large wall to have the wall resurfaced. Once the pieces were removed the wall looked like a machine gun had been fired across it because of the holes left behind.
We looked for a solution so that then next time we paint or remodel we didn't have to do so much patching and repair to the wall.
The minirail went up easily and can easily support our 20+ framed and ceramic art pieces. It will also allow us to rearrange and change pieces on display which was something we would have never done in the past..

We recently completed construction of a small gallery where we display about 40 of our fine art prints, ranging in size from 16" x 20" to 14' long panoramas. We wanted a system that would allow us to quickly and easily swap out various size pieces as they sold. The Minirail (with Monofilament Cables plus Zippers) makes it easy to lay out a wall of prints and shift them horizontally or vertically as required. Leveling is a breeze whether a piece is mounted on one or two cables. The use of two cables allows hanging fairly heavy pieces so we have not yet needed the stainless cables we bought. The monofilament provides a neat and clean look so we'll stick with that as much as weight permits. Having hung lots of pieces with traditional fixed-position hangers (which we still use elsewhere), the ease and time savings with this system are mind-boggling.

Installation of the Minirail is very straightforward but it does demand precision in positioning the proprietary screws to which the rail attaches. A laser level makes that very easy. Rails can be cut to length easily on a chop saw (with appropriate blade) and they are easily paintable to match the wall. I found gentle taps with a rubber mallet made it easy to snap the rail over screws when hand pressure (which usually did the trick) was insufficient

Although this system entails a significant investment compared to nails in a wall, the dramatic increase in speed and ease of hanging, plus the ease of modifying layouts, makes it a great value for anyone who will be making frequent changes. And, in conjunction with a good lighting system, it allows one to keep things fresh and present them at their best. In all, this is a very clever and extremely well thought-through system. I would, and likely will, buy this product again without hesitation.

Just as functional and clean looking as they say it is. I am very happy with its unobtrusive nature, and installation went smoothly. The system fulfills all my expectations -- very nice!

This was a perfect solution to hang pictures of all of our employees. Makes it very quick and easy to add more frames without requiring any tools as we hire new people.

I needed a system where I could change framed photos often as I submit them to galleries and contests. The mini-rails were perfect for me along with the person cords and zipper hooks. Love the system and highly recommend it.

We built a new house and I didn't want to have holes all over the walls. So I installed the STAS minirail system throughout the whole house. I just love it. I can move pictures around as much as I want. It was so easy to install and use and no holes all over the walls. We installed the rails about 2" down from the ceiling in solid wood and it looks great. Thanks STAS for a great product!

I just installed a 6' 8" section of minirail hanger. It is a very nice system. Take your time to ensure that the mounting screws are lined up straight, and the rail snaps on easily. I used the perlon cord + STAS zipper hook hangers They are slick and very easy to adjust to get the height right. I used the silver and it looks great in a modern loft-type space. I give the STAS minirail system 5 stars and two thumbs up!

This system was by far the easiest to install. The hanging clips are so well made I have no doubt they will last for a very long time. I also like the ability to add on more rails and hooks.

I first purchased the Minirail system in 2008 while going through a renovation. I always hated having too many holes in the wall, or no flexibility to rearrange artwork.

The Minirail system was my answer. Since then, I have expanded the system to all areas of my condo.

I was looking for the robust and flexible system to hang all my art collection in a newly renovated loft. I love the way the system looks. Was really easy to assemble and adjust to a different parts of my place.
