There are 2 main types of picture rail hooks to choose from:
STAS smartspring and the STAS zipper
STAS zipper pro is equipped with an extra theft-delaying bracket. As a result, paintings and other artworks cannot be taken off the wall in one move. Ideal for use in public or busy spaces.
STAS smartspring on perlon cord – carries loads up to 8.8 lbs STAS zipper (pro) on white coated steel cable - carries loads up to 22 lbs STAS zipper (pro) on perlon cord - carries loads up to 33 lbs STAS zipper (pro) on regular steel cable - carries loads up to 44 lbs
The perlon cord is virtually invisible. The steel cable, also available in white, is suitable for hanging heavier wall decorations.
STAS also carries two anti-theft systems with security picture hangers in its product range. The rods are applicable for the STAS j-rail max system only.
